In the hushed aftermath of the bustling children's line, a woman in her late 50s or early 60s approached Santa Claus. The festive spirit lingered, allowing for adults to discreetly join the queue for a moment with the jolly figure. What unfolded next took me completely by surprise.
With a delicate tear in her eye, the woman shared with Santa a deeply personal wish. She revealed that her daughter, battling a relentless cancer, had exhausted all treatment options, and time was slipping away. Her voice quivered as she said, “Santa, I understand it's impossible, but my sole wish is for you to heal my daughter.”
